Use of facilities

The School makes its facilities available to various groups free-of-charge as part of its role in sponsoring and supporting community groups.

Resources

Facilities used include:

• Withington’s new, state-of-the-art Sport and Fitness Centre
• Arts Centre
• Classrooms

Impact

• A local faith school hires Withington’s Arts Centre for its annual awards event.
• In November 2016, Withington hosted an England Lacrosse training weekend.
• In 2017 a local youth theatre company also used the Arts Centre for rehearsals and performances.
• Withington is also a Test Centre for the US SAT exams. 

The following groups have also benefited from use of Withington’s facilities:

• The Manchester Association of Cambridge University Women
• The Association of Language Learners
• Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music
• The University of Manchester
