Flash Bang Science Show

Withington hosted the Flash Bang Science Show, delivered by a professor from the University of Manchester. Year 8 and 9 pupils from local secondary schools were invited, and the exciting show aimed to inspire students to study science.

The Flash Bang Science Show was delivered in Withington’s Arts Centre, which could accommodate more pupils from local schools.

Impact

The show was an exciting experience of science outside the classroom, stimulating enthusiasm for the subject.

Pupil Involvement

The event was extremely popular and over 100 children attend each show, of whom around 60 were from maintained schools.
