Joint theatrical projects

Our theatre is a major community resource for the local area. We have undertaken joint theatrical productions with other local pupils; lend equipment and provide advice to other schools; host performances by community groups; and welcome visits from the nearby Guildford School of Acting and others.

We are fortunate to have an exceptional theatre, the Ben Travers Theatre, which we are always eager to share with the community we are part of.

The Director of Drama and Theatre Technician are most significantly involved, as well as some pupils for particular projects.

Impact

Shared use of the theatre is one of the most impactful ways that Charterhouse welcomes members of the wider community to the site, both for our own productions and those put on by other local groups.
