A partnership between The Manchester Grammar School and The Manchester Communications and Media Academy to increase the literary skills of Year 7 pupils.

Aims

A partnership between The Manchester Grammar School and The Manchester Communications and Media Academy to increase the literary skills of Year 7 pupils at MCMA.

Background

The project was set up between the two educational establishments and involves MGS pupils travelling to the Academy for literary sessions with Year 7 pupils at MCMA.

Resources

A member of the Manchester Communications and Media Academy Library team and a member of staff from MGS facilitate.

Pupil Involvement

10 Year 12 pupils assist with the sessions.

Frequency

Two terms a year, with 10 sessions per term.
