Link with Nawaikoke College, Africa
The Manchester Grammar School has been in partnership with Nawaikoke College, Uganda - in conjunction with St Peter's Hale - since 1986. The Manchester Grammar School raises awareness and money among its pupils via school discos (alongside the Girls' schools in Manchester). Boys collect old books and recycle these to take to Nawaikoke College.

To raise money and create awareness for water education and academic education in Africa.
Background
The Manchester Grammar School has been in partnership with Nawaikoke College - in conjunction with St Peter's Hale - for the last 30 years. We have raised funds to help buy toilets and classrooms, and supplied equipment for the College. We also raise money to dig wells and to educate the local community in sanitation and hygiene.
Resources
We raise awarness and money among our boys via school discos (alongside other Girls' schools in Manchester). We also collect old book and recycle these to take to the pupils in Nawaikoke College.
Pupil Involvement
The Manchester Grammar School Charities team facilitates the fundraising and awareness drive within the SChool, and one Tutor Group is responsible for managing the book recycling project.
