This partnership between The Manchester Grammar School and St Mary's RC Primary School aims to support Year 3 pupils at St Mary's in their sports lessons by providing extra coaching.

Background

The relationship was set up as part of The Manchester Grammar School's Community Action programme. Boys work with the PE specialist to provide small group coaching in a range of sports.

Resources

Boys are transported in a staff car to the primary school and the school's sports facilities are used.

Pupil Involvement

Four Year 9 boys, and a member of staff who acts as supervisor, take part.

Frequency

The activity lasts one hour every week during term time.
