Medical School Application Day

The Head of Biology from Pocklington School runs a Medical School Application Day for Sixth Form students interested in applying for Medical School or other allied healthcare professions.

Aims

The aim of the day is to provide Sixth Form students with relevant information and guidance before submitting an application for high demand Medical School courses and also offer advice and support to students interested in other healthcare professions ie dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing.

Impact

It is the intention that by providing adequate support and information for students seeking a career in medicine, the number of students attaining a positive outcome at the application and interview stages will be greater.
