ADHD Training Day
Pocklington School held an Attention Deficit Hyperactvity Disorder (ADHD) training session and invited teaching staff from Woldgate School (Secondary), Pocklington Junior School and Pocklington CE Infant School.
Aims
The training session was primarily organised as part of ongoing professional development for Pocklington School teaching staff and teaching staff from other state schools in Pocklington were invited free of charge.
Resources
The session required a room and a trainer from the ADHD foundation, which Pocklington School organised.
Impact
The training session improved the understanding of ADHD for all staff who attended.
Feedback from the session was that it had been interesting, enjoyable and provided useful strategies for use in the school environment.
