Fundraising Concert for St Catherine's Hospice

St Catherine's Hospice hold a fundraising concert every two years and Woldingham School provides use of its staff and auditorium at no charge to the charity.

Aims

St Catherine's holds the concert to raise funds to enable them to continue to benefit those in their care within the local community.

Background

Woldingham School's students regularly work as volunteers in the Hospice Shop and have also raised funds. The school is pleased to offer the use of its facilities to St Catherine's.

Resources

The school also provides the use of its technical AV staff and Catering staff during the day/evening and Sixth Form students assist with cloakroom duties, raffle ticket sales and collection buckets etc.

Impact

St Catherine's raised £8,000 through the concert alongside increasing public awareness of the hospice.

The event is held at the school bi-annually.
