Blessing Bags In Support of St Anne's Day Centre
Led by the Social Responsibility Team, students and staff at Woldingham School collect and donate items for blessing bags in support of St Anne's Day Centre for homeless and isolated people in the Brighton and Hove areas. Donations of food items, towels, appropriate clothing and toiletries are also donated to the Brighton based centre and staff and students visit the centre twice a year.
Aims
The beneficiaries are the clients of St Anne's Day Centre. Woldingham's students also benefit from the increased social awareness that comes from supporting and visiting such a charity.
Pupil Involvement
Woldingham's students are girls aged between 11 and 18.
Frequency
Visits to the centre take place twice each year and the relationship between the school and St Anne's is ongoing.
