Enrichment & Activity Day for Local Year 6 Primary Pupils

120 students from three local primary schools, Whyteleafe Primary, St Francis' and Woodlea, were invited to bring their Year 6 pupils to Woldingham School on 4 July 2014 for an enrichment day.  Pupils had lessons in areas of the curriculum and with facilities that they may not have access to in their own schools.  The lessons were led by Woldingham's subject specialists.

On a rolling carousel the pupils enjoyed lessons in Drama, Geography, Philosophy, Science, Modern Foreign Languages, Sport, Art and Music.

 

Aims

The aim was for the primary pupils to benefit from access to areas of the curriculum and the use of facilities they may not have access to in their own schools.

Resources

Lunch for the pupils and staff was provided by Woldingham as was transport to and from Whyteleafe Primary in the form of three minibuses.

The pupils involved were mixed and in Year 6.
