The Tempest

The play will allow pupils to gain further understanding of William Shakespeares work.

Aims

The event is to introduce and create awareness for William Shakespeare and specifically the play The Tempest. The performance will familiarise the pupils with the play.

Background

This play and the preparation leading up to the play is a combined project from the Drama and Admissions Departments.

Resources

The resources used will be: the school venue, staff time and planning, and event marketing to the community schools.

Impact

The 13 schools involved will benefit from workshops that will take place at their school before the performance. This event will engage with 720 pupils
