Debating

Students participated in a debating competition with students from LAE.

Aims

To practise students debating skills.  

Background

Our debating lead contacted LAE to make the arrangements and encouraged students interaction between the two school cohorts.  

Resources

Staff time and resources to bring students together.  

Impact

Positive impact of students interacting together as well as honing their debating skills.  

Pupil Involvement

Involving year 10/11 and 12/13 from both Forest and LAE.  

Frequency

One off event at the moment but we may look to make it a regular engagement.
