Prep and Primary Music Day

The Music Day is an annual event that encourages pupils to create music together. Community schools are invited to Forest School to participate in a day of Music.

Aims

Prep and primary music day has been going for 14yrs - it's time to change it! Pupils come together, create music, and perform to parents and guests at the end of the day in a 30min concert.

Background

Forest School promotes the growth and development of co-curricular activities, in particular music.

Resources

Resources used were: the deaton theatre, music equipment, visiting music teachers, and senior pupils. 5 teachers and 33 senior pupils £25.00 is the charge to participants for the day.

Impact

The impact of the event is realised through the participation of pupils and for the continued development of their music skills.
