Additional Maths Support

Students from two partner schools come to use the school weekly to study additional maths.  

Aims

To stretch the more able mathematicians.

Background

In conversation with the headteacher at Frederick Bremer there was a request for support with stretch for their most able, particualrly in maths.  As a result they were invited to join an established group from Walthamstow School For Girls who come to us for Additional Maths.   

Resources

Use of school facilities and staff time.  

Impact

The students take the Additional Maths Paper at the end of the year. Last year's results were an improvement on previous attainment.
