Bats in Churches
Lecture about bat conservation from a respresentative from Bats in Churches, to which our local secondary and sixth form partner schools were invited.
To give students and opportunity to findout about about bats, why they
are important, why they are a big headache for people looking after old buildings, and how we can all live together.
This was organised by the Head of Biology who linked up with Deborah Colvin to arrange the lecture.
The lecture was delivered in our theatre and required staff time to arrange and organise.
30 pupils from Forest and partner schools, those who attended were all in the sixth form as it was a good opportunity for those interested in ecology and conservation in the furture.
