Medieval History talk

Dr Benjamin Thompson - Tutor in Medieval History, was invited to speak to students about medieval history. Benjamin answered questions from students from Forest School and LAE surrounding the depiction of Henry VII and wider questions surrounding the Tudor dynasty and the Wars of the Roses.

Aims

The aim of the event was to teach pupils about medieval history.

Background

The opportunity was created by a Forest member of staff in order to teach and embedd the learnings or medieval history.

Resources

The school venue was used along with staff, staff time, cost £80 and guest speaker.

Impact

The impact was to learn about medieval history through the guest speaker.

The involvement was from the following year groups:Yr 10-11; Yr 12-13.
