Reach Out does STEM with The Space
We had nine schools join us in learning about technology at the theatre, from lighting, sound and production, as well as the overall architecture.
We were very impressed with the teamwork and creativity we saw when the teams designed and built their own theatre.
Aims
Work with partnership schools encouraged posstive attitudes towards the engineering behind the scenes of the theatre.
Resources
Full access to the space, the schools, state of the art theatre space.
Impact
Seven schools took part, including 42 students on the day,
Pupil Involvement
Sixth form student helper, one member of slt, 2 support staff, 2 academic teachers and an external staff members. 42 external children Year 4 &5.
