John Lyon School University Fair

The John Lyon School hosts an annual event to which Universities and local schools are invited. Universities that attended included University of Oxford St John’s College, University College London King's College London, Loughborough, London School of Economics & Political Science

University of Birmingham, University of Bristol, University of Leeds, University of Nottingham, University of Sheffield, University of York

SOAS Surrey, Sussex, UEA, Goldsmiths, Cardiff University University of Kent Reading, Royal Holloway

Hatch End School and Nower House Schools also attended. 

Aims

To enable pupils to explore the opportunities offered at various universities, both in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Resources

The John Lyon School offer the use of the Hall for this fair, the fair is supported by the John Lyon School careers team, support staff as well as the teams from the various Universities who attend.

Pupil Involvement

Pupils from John Lyon School in Years 9 and 10 attended, in addition 450 pupils from Year 9 and above attended from partner Schools.

Frequency

The John Lyon School University Fair is a day-long annual event.
