SEND Conference - State and independent schools
King's School plans and hosts an annual SEND Conference, attended by key staff from over fifty schools from both the state and independent sector.
It is an excellent opportunity for the sectors to mix and learn from each other. Topics covered include JCQ regulation updates, growth mindsets, memory and recall and the potential impacts of COVID lockdowns on pupils.
The 2023 Conference (October) was particularly well-received, with excellent feedback for the speakers (Behaviour Buddy presentation and JCQ).
