Girls football competitions for 10 local primary schools

Running two girls football tournaments for 100 girls at each of the two events. Girls played in mixed teams and school based teams. 10 schools were represented, and it was a great chance to raise the profile of girls football in the local area.

Aims

To raise the profile of girls football in the local area and enable top class training and competitions for the girls.

Background

Our Head of football throught of the idea as a means of sharing facilities and expertise with the local community.
