Footy Stars

Developing the next generation of elite footballers with local primary school children alongside Ardingly College pupils. Children from various other schools attend, including Lindfield Primary Academy, St Peter's CofE Pirmary School Chailey, Warden Park Academy, and some local Prep Schools.

Aims

We wanted to enable a wider range of pupils from local schools to benefit from our high-level football coaching to inspire the next generation of elite footballers. 

Background

Our Head of football developed the idea from our existing football programme.

Resources

Ardingly Football coaching staff and our school facilities, grounds and astroturf are used.

Impact

Very positive feedback from pupils, teachers and parents.

Pupil Involvement

Primary school boys and girls of various ages are involved.
