Reading Project with Grange Primary School

13 high achieving Year 6 pupils come to Harrow every week for reading, presentations, tours and ice cream with Harrow boys.

Aims

Develop the reading skils of the pupils whilst developing teaching and leadership skills of Harrow boys.

Background

We approached Grange, Grange chose the type of project and we planned it together.

Resources

A minibus and driver to bring the pupils to Harrow every week, a member of staff to oversee the project.

Impact

The pupils reading levels will be assessed at the end of the year.

Pupil Involvement

13 Year 6 pupils from Grange, 13 Harrow boys from all year groups. 

Frequency

Weekly for half the year.
