Visiting Lecture Programme

Over 50 local state school pupils join MCS to hear expert speakers, extending their knowledge beyond the curriculum.

Aims

Provides students with access to speakers and Q&A sessions with academics. Such sessions aim to foster enthusiasm and academic curiousity. 

Resources

Venue, speakers, funding, resources necessary for talks such as projectors, computers, etc., staff time. 

Impact

The impact of such talks is measured through informal feedback from students and their teachers. 

Pupil Involvement

Involves around 50 external pupils between 15 and 18.

Frequency

These sessions take place around ten times annually.
