Film Clubs

Sixth Form pupils run weekly film clubs in local secondary schools helping students plan, film, edit and create a short film on topics the students choose.

Aims

To stimulate creativity and encourage artistic endeavours outside the classroom and in a way the curriculum does not account for.

Resources

Cameras, resources, staff time. 

Impact

The impact of this project is measured through feedback given by the sixth form students and the state school pupils and their teachers.

Pupil Involvement

This involves MCS pupils aged 16 to 17 and external pupils aged 11 to 16. 

Frequency

This project has weekly sessions running during school term time all year round.
