Entrepreneurship Programme
Pupils from MCS and a local state secondary school take part in a year-long programme to learn about commerce, create a business concept, write a business plan and present this to a panel to win funds to set up their own enterprise. There is a strong charity element and mentoring from MCS staff and university professors.
Aims
Teach business skills beyond those one can learn within the curriculum. Encourage a charitable focus to business.
Resources
Links with the university, classroom space, staff time.
Impact
The impact is measured through feedback from the pupils involved.
