Open day for Aspiring Medics
An annual event for MCS pupils and students from 10 local state secondary schools. Doctors and expert medical practitioners offer insights into medical careers and advice on making successful medical applications with multiple mini interviews. Preparation for writing personal statements is included, with specialist personal statement mentors assigned to each student.

Offer advice on medical careers and university applications and allow studenst to ask questions and receive help with their applications.

Established by Head of Biology in 2010.

Impact
Assessment is the success of candidates applying for Medicine.

Around 35 non-MCS pupils aged 16-17.
