Classics Teaching

MCS runs 35 sessions per year teaching A Level Classics to secondary school students. MCS staff also teach at a language school giving primary school pupils an introduction to Ancient Greek.

Aims

To encourage an enthusiasm for classics by providing students who would not normally be able to study classics, with high level classics coaching.

Resources

Lesson plans, staff time. 

Impact

The impact is measured through feedback given by the external students and staff.

Pupil Involvement

The external pupils involved are 9 to 11 and 15 to 18. 

Frequency

There are 35 regular sessions annually and a summer course lasting three to four days.
