Author Events

Renowned authors visit MCS with pupils from local primary schools attending.

Aims

Provides students with access to published authors and opportunities to discuss books in a way they may not be able to otherwise, encouraging an enthusiasm for reading and literacy. 

Resources

Venue and resources such as projector, and staff time.

Impact

The impact of this project is measured in the feedback we recieve from visiting staff and pupils.

Pupil Involvement

Over 300 pupils aged between 7 and 11 are involved.

Frequency

Author visits occur three to six times a year.
