Primary Liaison Day

Sessions for primary school children in Languages, Science, Sport and Music, giving them opportunities beyond the curriculum. Offers a taster of a senior school day.

Aims

Offers primary children extension activities and a taster ‘senior school’ day extending their understanding of the subjects. MCS pupils benefit from working with young children.

Established since 2007.

Resources

Makes use of classrooms, music equipment, sports hall and pitches, time of teaching and non-teaching staff, catering.

Impact

 Assessment carried out every year.

Pupil Involvement

 250 pupils involved, aged 9-11.
