Sixth Form Curriculum Overview Partnership - Chesterton Community College

A selection of Academic departments are collaborating between the Perse and the sixth form at Chesterton Community College in order to provide critical friendship and help as CCC begin their sixth form journey after opening this setting in 2022.

Chesterton are also able to provide in-school experience for Perse staff who are undertaking in-service PGCSE qualifications.

Aims

Collaborative partnership to help share best practice and assist with the successful implementation of a new sixth form setting at Chesterton Community College, who continue to facilitate ITT visits for Perse staff who undertake PGCE qualifications.

Background

Established in early 2023 following conversations between The Eastern Learning Alliance TELA and The Perse. 

Assistant Head at The Perse met with Head of Sixth at Chesterton and the project was rolled out across the following Departments:

- Science

- MFL

- Classics
