Mathematics University Practice Interviews

Members of The Perse Upper mathematics Department contribute to an outreach initiative to offer Oxbridge practice interviews to applicants from state schools.

Aims

The aim is to widen access to high quality practice interviews ahead of interviews on highly competitive courses.

Background

The school used to have an interview exchange with another independent school and we liaised with their contact over involvement on this programme with Advanced Maths Support Programme.

Resources

Teaching Staff offer a specified number of interviews for which students them subscribe.

Pupil Involvement

Upper Sixth (Year 13 pupils) in state schools are eligible.

Frequency

This programme happens in November - December annually.
