Primary Schools Hockey Club

This hockey coaching programme introduces pupils from partner schools in years 4, 5, and 6 to the game of hockey with the intention inspiring children to play sport.

Sessions run every Friday evening throughout the year. The coaching is led by a Perse teacher, who is assisted by other Perse staff and Sixth Formers.

Pupil Involvement

40 pupils in total attend from a range of local partner primary schools and it is hoped that pupils will go on to join one of the Cambridge hockey clubs when they are 13.

Frequency

This is a longterm commitment from the school and is ongoing. The courses will be running for the Michaelmas, Lent and Summer Terms.
