Science Mentoring Programme

The Perse school partners with multiple local schools to provide a science mentoring program. This course involves a ‘buddying’ scheme where a Perse student is a mentors to Year 6 students from local primary schools. 

Aims

The aim of the course is to use Science to spark students’ curiosity, raise aspirations, stretch and support them in developing core skills, and enhance their confidence in other subjects across the curriculum and beyond the classroom. With a focus on lab work and experiments, mentees also develop their basic understanding of Science in a fun and engaging way

Frequency

This is an ongoing course which is running during the Michaelmas and Lent terms.
