ICT with Raynes Park Library
Local residents with no experience of using computers are invariably delighted and appreciative when pupils from King's introduce them to using the internet, email and word processing. They may never have clicked a mouse before; imagine their delight at the online world King's pupils reveal!
Pupils from King's learn to be ‘hands off’, clear and patient, and will probably enjoy a few anecdotes from their customers too! Guests to the project enjoy interacting on a regular basis with others and also learning new ICT skills.
Most students stated the project helped develop their compassion and levels of responsiblity.
