This evergreen station provides a space in the school on Friday afternoons for local elderly people to share tea, sandwiches and conversation with each other and with our pupils. Pupils serve tea and chat with our elderly guests.
This project is excellent work experience for aspiring medical students at King's, and the event, which takes place in the school library every Friday afternoon, is a wonderful opportunity for our elderly in the community to chat with young people and engage with each other.
