Games with Hollymount Primary School

King's pupils devise and play games in the playground or gym with very young children at Hollymount Primary School. 

Aims

Develop leadership skills and an increased level of responsibility in King's pupils.

Introduce Hollymount pupils to new activities and provide them with a weekly games.

Resources

A member of teaching staff from each partnership school and games equipment provided by both schools. 

Impact

Reflection sessions take place during the year. By the end of the year, most King's pupils taking part indicated that this project had significantly increased their sense of responsibility and leadership. 

Pupil Involvement

Sixth form pupils from King's and Key stage one pupils from Hollymount.

Frequency

This project takes place for one hour at Hollymount Primary School every Friday afternoon throughout the acadmic year.
