Y5 Physics Challenge

Nottingham High School works with local schools to promote STEM subjects such as Physics.  Each year local primary schools are invited to send teams of Year 5 pupils to take part in our Y5 Physics Challenge, hosted in our own Science labs.  A number of schools participate annually in this popular event promoting interest in Physics and fostering a love of learning.

Aims

The Year 5 pupils take part in a variety of practical challenges, assisted by some of our senior school physicists. The challenges are set and monitored by our own Physics staff.
