Remembrance Event for Nottingham City Council

To provide a bugle player for the Remembrance Service organised by Nottingham City Council.

Aims

To provide a bugler for the Remembrance Service organised by the City Council, to support the local community's commemoration of lives lost at war. 

Background

Several years ago, the Council contacted Nottingham High School to request a musician to perform at their remembrance event in the city centre.

Resources

The Co-Head of Instrumental Studies and Brass at Nottingham High School, has accompanied the brass student at past events. 

Impact

The School was able to share the skills of one of it's student musicians with the local community, to give the appropriate reverance and tradition to the playing of the Last Post at the city's Remembrance Event.

Male student, Y9-13, dependant on ability rather than age.
