Community Outreach Xmas Lunch

Local care home residence were invited to attend christmas lunch and a school drama production as part of the christmas festivities.

To build links between the school and community; To provide a Xmas lunch and entertainment.

Organised by a staff member who has long-established link with local carehomes.

Used Dining Hall, Catering staff, Music & Drama teaching staff for the day.

Fully catered 4 course lunch as well as running cost of the events.

Positive verbal feedback from OAPs, reaction to show and the interactions they show to each other and the students.

Cast and Band - Years 10 - 13; around 40 students; mix of male/female/non-binary.

Single event, but occurs every Xmas.
