We do Physics

This is a one day event attended by St Marylebone School and Camden School for Girls. It offers exam revision sessions and inspiring talks for Year 12 Physics students. 

Aims

The aim is for Year 12 students to be inspired beyond their Sixth Form Physic syllabus and to encourage young women into continuing their Physics studies. Students from FHRP and the two partner state schools all benefit. The study day enhances the Physics teaching delivered by one of our teachers for both Year 12 and Year 13 Physics.

Background

The study day was devised by the Head of Physics and is in its third year. 

Resources

The study day takes place at FHRP and uses teaching staff. It involves students from the two partner state schools, and all Year 12 Students from Francis Holland Regent's Park and Francis Holland Sloane Square. 

Impact

Students complete evaluative questionnaires at the end of the event.

Pupil Involvement

 Year 12 Girls who will be 16 and 17 years old.
