Sports fixtures

St Joseph's in the Park regularly hosts sports fixtures with local schools.

Four schools were invited to take part in an U11 inter school cross country event.

U11 7-A-Side football match against Hollybush Primary School - supporting sporting links and skills development.

The school hosted Abel Smith Primary School for two U11 netball and football matches.

To invite local state and Independent schools to participate in sporting events, fostering sporting partnerships and links.

School facilities were used - school field and playground along with the on school site car park.

Teaching staff were used to support and run the event.

Refreshments served to participants and adults.

Development of sporting partnerships and links across different sporting events.

The pupils involved were from year 3 upwards to year 6.

The cross country is an annual event. It is likely to continue for the following / upcoming years.
