Sports Academy at Chauncey School

We provided transport for 25 children from Hertford St Andrews CVA Primary School to take part in a sporting event at Chauncey School.

Aims

The aim for this event was to provide transport for the 25 children and four staff to attend a Sport Academy event at Chauncey School in Ware.

Without the provision of transport the children would not have been able to take part in this event.

The 25 children were the main beneficiaries and could complete their Sport Academy work.

Background

We have had a partnership with HSA for over 11 years - providing transport, sporting, artistic and outdoor education opportunities.

Resources

We provided two minibuses and two qualified drivers taking the children from HSA to Chauncey School and the collecting them and returning them safely to school.

2 Hours in total using non teaching and teaching staff to drive the minibuses.

No financial contribution was required for this event.

Impact

The staff reported back to SJITP staff that without our support the children would not have been able to attend.

25 Year 5/6 children mixed gender from HSA.
