Roman Day 2024

We welcomed two of Stutton Primary School’s classes, Swans and Kingfishers, to our Roman Day. The event consisted of six Roman-themed activities and was led by our Year 12 Classicists. 

From creating spells with Latin words in our ‘Harry Potter Latin’ workshop, to re-enacting Roman shield formations, the fun never stopped.  

The ‘Gladiator Green Screen’ experience was a hit, with everyone enjoying the chance to step back into the Roman era, complete with costumes and props. 🎭📸 

Pupils also learnt about Roman numerals, root words, and explored ancient Roman Gods, bringing history to life in an interactive and engaging way.
