RHS Hosts HMC Pastoral Conference
40 pastoral leads from independent and state schools across the South East gathered at RHS for a day of learning and collaboration.
Keynote speaker Dr Dominique Thompson shared insights on proactive pastoral care: Five things that every person working with young people today needs to know.
Our guests were then treated to a tour of our school, including the health centre, boarding/day houses and wellbeing areas.
A TeachMeet took place throughout the afternoon, which included topics such as effective monitoring in boarding houses, medical concepts applied to wellbeing, neurodiversity in boarding houses and using data to start conversations.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and contributed to this enriching exchange of ideas. Your engagement and dedication to the wellbeing of young people are truly inspiring. We look forward to continuing this important dialogue and to future opportunities for collaboration and growth in pastoral care. 🌍🎓
