Career taster: Mock trial experience

The Maynard School, in partnership with the Law department at the University of Exeter, invited 60 girls from year 10 upwards to experience a court room and take part in a mock trial. Girls from four local secondary schools attended along with pupils from The Maynard.

Aims

To give girls considering a career in law an opportunity to experience a mock trial.

Pupil Involvement

Year 10 and above.

Both local Independent and state school pupils took part.

Frequency

This has taken place annually and will be ongoing. It is always over-subscribed.
