Supporting opera singers in the borough

Opera@Bearwood is a Wokingham based community opera company with an active core membership of around 25 people.

An Opera@Bearwood spokesperson said:

"We were most impressed by the facilities on offer at the Caudwell Hall, both in the auditorium and front of house. The theatre is easily accessible for those who have mobility issues, with good parking for our audience. The lighting in the auditorium is excellent, meaning that we did not have to hire any lighting in.

The school was most helpful in accommodating our needs, especially with our request to hire and install a stage, and in having the company take over the premises for a week. We felt that the staff were very supportive of our production and we were made to feel most welcome. We are looking forward to returning next year."
