Subject Enrichment Day

'Magical Monsters & Where They Hide; A Gary Trotter Story' is a themed day of academic enrichment lessons involving year 5 pupils from local partner primary school's. 

Aims

To provide an action packed academic and co-curricular enrichment day for Year 5 pupils at partner primary schools.

Resources

Hosted at Ashford School therefore taking advantage of subject specific facilities such as DT, Art and Food Technology.

Pupil Involvement

80 Pupils from visiting primary schools in addition to all Year 12 pupils from Ashford School who help run the day. 

Frequency

The event was launched in 2021 as a standalone single day. In 2022 it will be extended to two days with more visiting schools.
