Academic Masterclass

Showcasing fantastic academic breadth the Ashford School masterclasses provide keen students from years 4-6 an opportunity to stretch themselves intellectually through a range of seminars, practicals and taught lessons. 

Aims

Provide academic challenge to young students.

"Mad metals and crazy colours of chemistry" - Science

"Volcanic voices" - Music 

"CSI Jesus" - Philosophy 

"But don't we all speak English anyway?" - MFL

Resources

Hosted at Ashford School or Ashford Prep School and therefore taking advantage of the excellent onsite facilities. 

Lessons and workshops are delivered by Ashford School staff. 

Pupil Involvement

Pupils in year 4-6 from local state and independent schools are invited on a sign up basis. 

Frequency

Two to three masterclass events run per academic year.
