School Insets

Free inset opportunities have been offered to feeder schools in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. This started as a project at the Senior School, with an annual event in the spring term. St Mary’s paid for the cost of the speaker, along with lunch and refreshments. We then began a similar project in the Junior School, in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University, offering inset focused on primary level teaching & learning. These take place once a year.

Resources

These events are normally organised by the Communications & Admissions Office, with a budget of £500+ per speaker plus catering. We use the Junior School Hall and the Senior School Hall.

The feedback from events has been very positive.
